Usage and Limits

One page that answers two questions: what your account is allowed to do, and how much of each allowance is gone.

Two tabs divide the answer. Usage carries the allowances that have a number. Capabilities carries the ones that are either present or absent.

Three columns: Entitlement, Plan and Used.

Entitlement is the name of the allowance, with a one-line description underneath. Plan is the figure your account is allowed. Used is a bar and the current figure.

The bar changes colour as it fills: it turns amber at eighty per cent and red when the allowance is gone.

The figures under Used are counted on the server at the moment you open the page. They are not a monthly bill and they are not a snapshot from the app.

An allowance with no ceiling shows Unlimited rather than a number. It has no bar, because there is nothing to fill.

A row is absent when your account says nothing at all about that allowance.

A row showing 0 is different, and it is deliberate. Zero is a real answer: the allowance exists and none of it is available to you. An account with no allowance left is not the same as an account with no limits, so the row stays visible.

The second tab lists what your account includes, each with a tick.

Only the capabilities you hold are listed. There is no greyed-out row for the ones you do not, and the ticks are not switches — the list is already filtered to what is granted, so a switch would be a control that could do nothing.

A line under the heading says so, and names the organisation.

Some of what you see is then yours and some comes from the groups you are in. Where you have the rights to manage groups, the line also offers the link See what its groups give, which opens the organisation side.

The page stays here either way. Every account has entitlements, including one that has never belonged to an organisation.
