What Language Controls

Your language preference decides which word list the codewords are drawn from.

It applies to the connections you own. When you are a member of a connection somebody else owns, their language applies instead of yours.

You can choose English, German, Spanish, French, Italian or Dutch.

Pick a language that you and the people you verify with both speak. This matters most over the telephone, where one of you has to read the words aloud.

Each connection has its own language setting on its detail screen, so different connections can use different languages.

A change takes effect at once, and the same code is then shown in the new language. Tell anyone who verifies you which language you have chosen.
