Creating an Account

Getting Started

Three ways to create an account:

Magic Link (Email): Enter your email and tap Continue. An address we do not know takes you to the Create Account screen, where you give a Display Name — it is required — and, if you have one, a referral code. Then tap Register.

Google Sign In: Tap the Google button.

Apple Sign In (iOS): Tap the Apple button.

Your email is how others invite you. Use one you actually check.

Verifying Your Email

After you tap Register we send you a sign-in link by email. Open the email and tap the link to activate your account. The link expires after one hour.

No email? Check your spam folder, then go back and request the link again. There is no code to type in.

Setting Up Your Profile

On the Create Account screen you give three things:

Email (required) — where the sign-in link goes.

Display Name (required) — what your connections see. Make it recognisable.

Referral Code (optional) — if somebody gave you one.

Your code-word language and a profile picture are not asked for here. Add them later in Settings.

Your First Steps

If invited: your invitation is waiting under Pending Requests in the People tab.

Starting fresh: open the People tab and tap + to invite people.

Your trust score starts modest and grows as the account gets older and you use the app.
