Organisation console
What It Is
Section titled “What It Is”The organisation console is the set of pages that manage one organisation: who belongs to it, which groups they sit in, what the organisation has bought, and what its members are allowed to do.
The Two Ways In
Section titled “The Two Ways In”There are two addresses, and both open the same pages.
Sign in at my.trusted.codes and, if you hold administrative rights in an
organisation, the context switcher at the top of the menu offers the
organisation beside your personal account. Choosing it opens the console inside
your account pages.
If your organisation has its own address at business.trusted.codes, signing in
there opens the console directly, with no personal account pages around it.
The pages are the same code in both places. Anything this section describes applies to whichever address you use. Where an address genuinely matters, the page says so.
Your personal plan and your own invoices live in the account pages at
my.trusted.codes, not here. This console is the organisation’s.
Not the Admin Console
Section titled “Not the Admin Console”This is a different console from the admin console. The organisation console manages one organisation. The admin console manages the server that every organisation runs on. If you are looking for server-wide settings, you are in the wrong place.
What Your Role Decides
Section titled “What Your Role Decides”Every member of an organisation holds a role, and the role decides which pages appear. A role that may manage people sees People and Roles and Organisation and Groups. A role that may not, does not.
This is why two colleagues signed in to the same organisation can see different menus. A page you cannot find is usually a page your role does not carry, not a page that is broken.
Some destinations need more than a role. Verify and Seals also need the companion application to be connected under Settings. Others need the organisation’s plan to include the feature. Each page in this section names its own condition at the top.
Plan and Billing is the one page that is always offered. An organisation whose plan has lapsed must still be able to find the way to pay, so nothing hides it.
The Sections
Section titled “The Sections”The menu groups the console into five parts.
Organization holds the overview and the organisation itself, with its groups.
People & partners holds People and Roles, Business Partners and Promo Codes — everybody the organisation works with or sponsors, whether they are members or not.
Verification holds the tools that prove an identity or a message: Verify and Seals. Both need the desktop application.
Reports holds Activity and the Verification Log.
Account holds the plan, the notification wording, the machine-to-machine Integrations, the Open Links and the Settings.
A section with nothing in it for your role does not appear at all.
