Your Email Addresses

Settings → Security & recoveryEmail Addresses.

If you signed in with Apple and used a private relay address, Security & recovery carries the reminder to add a real address, because a relay address cannot be found by anyone inviting you. On this screen the relay address itself is marked Private relay.

People will invite you at whichever address they know — work, personal, an old one. Linking them means an invitation to any of them reaches this account.

Tap Add email, enter the address, and confirm with the code we send.

You can hold two addresses. Once the second one is verified, Add email disappears.

Each address can hold two roles.

Login email — where your sign-in links go. Exactly one address holds it, and it is fixed once the account exists; the app has no control that moves it.

Discoverable — the address other people may use to find and invite you. Set it with Set as discoverable on the address row.

Use Delete on the row. The login email has no Delete control and cannot be removed.

Removing an address does not change connections you already have; it only stops new invitations arriving at that address.
